Nice is Not the Same as Kind

You don't always have to be nice. Not everyone deserves the energy it often takes to be nice, but it's important to always strive to be kind, and never cruel.

It Sucks That People Suck

I first saw this said in this exact way by one of my favorite people on Twitter, Charlie Knight (@CknightWrites) and I've yet to see a better way of expressing the concept.
